Shift Information

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 pm - 2:30 am

What your day‑to‑day will look like:
  • Build up and assemble units in passenger coaches such as roofs, cable harnesses, mounted parts, electrical racks, panels, air supply racks and piping assemblies.
  • Connect wires between component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
  • Cut wire to specified lengths and route, twist, wrap, tie, and attach wire to terminal points.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble components as required.
  • Work from production blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, sketches and verbal instructions to produce electrical or electro‑mechanical sub‑assemblies.
  • Use fine motor skills to assemble small parts with excellent dexterity.
To thrive in this role, you have:
  • High school education or state‑recognized GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Experience with electrical panel assembly, construction, automotive or electrical service industries.
  • Experience with electro‑mechanical assembly.
  • Capable of basic written and verbal communication in English.
  • Knowledge of reading blueprints, diagrams, and various part lists is helpful.
Physical Demands
  • Comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment when required.
  • Standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using hands to handle objects or tools.
  • Frequent verbal communication required; occasional tasks may involve detecting odors.
  • Ability to lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities: close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
