Eliot is seeking an energetic, positive, service-oriented Advanced Program Specialist to work with staff in a variety of residential service models serving children and adolescents. This position will support programs by offering training, supervision and support to supervisors. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in state regulatory requirements and have experience with systems implementation, crisis management and staff development.
Responsibilities- Deploy to any program as staffing needs dictate.
- Be thoroughly familiar with all policies and procedures for all program models and populations funded by DCF and DYS, including Adolescent Staff Secure, Adolescent Detention, Latency CTR.
- Serve as the Shift Supervisor on each assigned shift. Participate in and collaborate with all team members of the assigned program.
- Model, train, direct and supervise all staff while keeping with the program policies and practices.
- Monitor and report on program culture. Report serious incidents to the on-site supervisor or on-call administrator.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
- At least 3 years supervisory experience working with children and adolescents in residential settings
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
- Must be 21+ years old
