An End of Line Tester is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality and production standards before they leave the manufacturing line.

• Provide high quality and reliable products and services in accordance with our published specifications to fully satisfy the needs of our customers. Recognize the ‘Voice of the Customer’ in everything we do by contributing to a proactive and preventive quality improvement culture, underpinned by the spirit of continuous improvement.
• Carry out tests on the full range of Airedale equipment; follow Test Procedures and give feedback for amendments where required.
• Troubleshoot issues and contribute to risk assessments and health and safety investigations.
• Assist Technical Support with site visits as periodically required.
• Carry out customer end of line witness tests / assist with noise tests.
• Participate in quality investigations and structured problem solving using tools and methodologies for problems identified by external customer complaints and internal concerns.
• Engage other departments in problem solving investigations.
• Undertake all aspects of testing requirements, specifically: evacuation and charging; refrigeration performance testing; electrical component testing; mechanical/electrical installations; testing design TD at required water flows and pressure drops.

Electrical and mechanical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Computer and report writing skills essential. Capable of working unsupervised. Ability to use own initiative. Knowledge of Refrigeration and HVAC product testing preferred. Previous test experience preferred, additional training will be provided. Carel Controls knowledge vital. Ability to be flexible and available for overtime (can be at short notice). Good communication skills.

Completing test requirements on time – with accurate reporting data. Liaising with both office and shop floor personnel / departments. Achieving project targets on time. EPA
608 Universal Certification.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Refrigeration/HVAC qualification would be an advantage
