Overview

Washington and Lee University:
Cognitive and Behavioral Science Department ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).)

We are seeking candidates for two Visiting Assistant Professor positions, each for 2‑year terms, beginning July 1, 2026. Candidates should be able to teach introductory Cognition and/or Social Psychology, Introduction to Data Science, and upper-level courses in their area of expertise. We value commitments to undergraduate instruction and engaging undergraduates in research. Qualifications

A PhD in Psychology or a related field is required by time of appointment.

Application review will begin on February 6, 2026 and continue until the positions are filled. The committee hopes to conduct Zoom interviews around March 1.
