• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
• Make equipment recommendations and ensure that units are maintained.
• Work in both stores with Tool Rental Centers and in repair centers.
• In-store responsibilities include providing service to store customers in Tool Rental, writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs, checking that tools operate properly, and demonstrating proper use as needed.
• Support customer repair needs and manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the Tool Rental department.
• In non-store locations, ensure units are repaired, tested for repair quality, and cleaned prior to returning to the originating store.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all tools and effectively manage the tool inventory by maintaining and repairing tools as necessary.
