Location: West Lexington and Newberry – Novant Health Physical Therapy Center
Status: PRN

What Are We Looking For?

The PT obtains patient medical history; administers treatment pursuant to referral; completes all appropriate documentation in patient records; instructs patients and families in needed care, assists in rehabilitation, and assists in training support personnel and in presenting in-service programs.

Do You Have What It Takes? Current Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current state license in South Carolina
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Effective personal and interpersonal communication skills; able to document patient care, operate equipment and dispense supplies
  • Ability to use evidence-based practice guidelines to treat orthopedic and neurological diagnoses/injuries
  • Ability to develop treatment plans, provide quality patient care, and supervise assistants
  • Ability to demonstrate competence in evaluation, assessment, planning and treatment
  • Ability to improve and expand client relations with other medical facilities and staff
Ideal Qualifications
  • 2 years’ experience in an outpatient setting
  • Graduate of a CAPTE accredited school of Physical Therapy
  • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
