Roadway Engineer

Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Transportation team as a Roadway Engineer. This role will sit in our Lexington, SC office.

• Leading roadway design tasks from preliminary to final design
• Developing and reviewing plan sets, quantity estimates and associated documents
• Serving as roadway project lead as necessary
• A valid license and some travel will be required

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited college or university AND at least six years of relevant work experience
• PE license in any state (preferably South Carolina), or the ability to obtain within six months of hire

• Micro Station/Geopak and ORD software
• SCDOT and municipal roadway design projects
• SCDOT experience, including Design Directives and Standard Specifications
• MS Office including Project
