CVOR RN in Lexington, NC

Location:

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Shifts from 1:00 AM to 5:15 AM and 12:00 PM night before on-call

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure smooth and safe procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment and manage surgical instruments and supplies efficiently
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery, anticipating needs and responding promptly
• Document all patient care activities thoroughly and accurately

Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Proven experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing
• Strong knowledge of cardiac surgical procedures and instrumentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain composure in high-pressure situations
