Deliver essential perioperative care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room within a well-established healthcare setting. This contract position offers a dynamic opportunity to apply specialized OR nursing skills supporting a diverse surgical patient population.

Location
Positioned in Lexington, NC, this healthcare facility operates with 94 licensed beds and maintains a Stroke Center designation. The facility features five active operating rooms and two procedure rooms, managing an average of 23 patients daily. Lexington provides a blend of small-town charm with access to medical services and essential amenities.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide circulator nursing care across various surgical specialties including General, Orthopedic, Urology, GYN, Podiatry, Pediatric Dentistry, Burn, ENT, Pain, and Vascular cases.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams utilizing EPIC EMR and specialized surgical equipment.
• Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing nurse education programs.
• Respond to on-call assignments every 8th-10th weekend and one night during the week, with holiday coverage at approximately 75%.
• Adhere to scheduling options with shifts from 0630 to 1500 or 0630 to 1700, Monday through Friday, plus call weekends on a rotational basis.

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered Nurse licensure required with BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years' recent experience in perioperative nursing preferred.
• Circulator nursing experience in an operating room setting essential.
• Candidates who have traveled previously preferred.
