Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring circulator experience and a NC or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital setting with 5 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms currently staffed
- Average of 23 surgical patients per day with specialties including general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, podiatry, pediatric dentistry, burn, ENT, pain, and vascular
- Shift options are or , Monday through Friday
- On-call required every 8th-10th weekend and one night during the week, 5 out of 10 weeks
- Holiday coverage required for 75% of holidays
- No floating required
- Uses Epic EMR and surgical equipment specific to the operating room
- Main responsibilities include circulating for surgical procedures across various specialties
- Support is available within the department
- Green scrubs are provided by the facility
- Free parking is available for staff
- Department culture adheres to standardized protocols
- Orientation includes facility onboarding and 2 days of departmental training
- Time off requests require manager approval
- Active NC or compact RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room circulator experience
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- First-time travelers are not preferred
