Mechanical Maintenance Technician
We are hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Industrial Mechanic) to support our client’s heavy industrial production operations
. The technician will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to bearings, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, drives, and rotating equipment.
- Install, align, and maintain mechanical power transmission systems including couplings, shafts, and belts.
- Conduct welding, fabrication, and machining work for equipment repair or modification.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
, including troubleshooting and component replacement. - Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and alignment of components.
- Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
. - Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders through CMMS software
. - Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
- Follow all lockout/tagout and safety procedures at all times.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, steel, chemical, or heavy industrial environment.
- OR completion of a technical degree or apprenticeship in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical power transmission, hydraulics, and pneumatics
. - Experience with welding, cutting, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics
. - Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems and motor controls.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems, Solid Works, Mastercam, or AutoCAD a plus.
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork

- Journeyman Millwright, Machine Repair, or Welder license.
- 4+ years of heavy industrial maintenance or millwright experience.
- Navy Machinist’s Mate or equivalent mechanical training background.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechanical Technology
