The EHS Manager will be responsible for leading safety culture improvement and the implementation of the company’s process safety, operational safety and environmental management strategy.
Responsibilities- Process safety, operational safety and environmental management
- Maintain a current knowledge base of best industry practice related to operational / process safety & environmental management, standards and procedures
- Maintain a current knowledge base of current and proposed legislation which could impact operational / process safety & environmental management, standards and practices in the company
- Assist with the development of appropriate operational / process safety and environmental management policies, strategies and work programs
- Support key personnel across the company with their responsibilities and accountabilities with regard to operational / process safety and environmental management
- Provide training and support to key site staff to ensure that they can undertake their operational / process safety and environmental management tasks fully and well
- Support SHE Best Practice Networks across the company
- Assist with the development of and visibility of operational / process safety and environmental performance and the development of regular improvement
- Improve compliance with corporate safety standards
- Evaluate hazards within the facilities for process safety, occupational safety, environmental risks and support the implementation of control measures
- Develop and support the implementation of inspection policies and establish regular inspection schedules
