This role will be responsible for experiment execution in downstream biologics process development. This will include equipment setup, maintenance, processing, and data acquisition in a laboratory setting. Technical report authoring and lab notebook recordkeeping are also critical to this role. The successful candidate will exhibit strong interpersonal skills, technical competence, and a willingness to learn.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Scale-down and range finding study execution.
* Purification by FPLC of Pilot scale batches.
* Implementation of multiple liquid chromatography types (i.e Affinity, Ion Exchange, HIC)
* Buffer formulation, resin selection and capacity study execution.
* Filter loading and fouling study execution.
* Intermediate stability analysis.
* Formulation and stability study support.
* Protein characterization by A280, SEC, SDS-PAGE and cIEF.
* Statistical data analysis.
* Equipment setup, functional verification and maintenance.
Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in a biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, bioengineering, molecular biology or related program.
* Familiar with protein biochemistry
* Familiar with general biology lab techniques
* Familiar with statistical analysis and experimental design
* Technical and scientific writing and presentation skills
