Formulation Research Associate

Currently I have an opening for a Formulation Research Associate located in Lexington, MA
.

• The candidate will be responsible for the formulation and characterization of peptides, proteins, small molecules, and bioconjugates.
• This position reports to the Head of Pharmaceutical Formulation Sciences. Internal relationships include project teams and research colleagues in Lexington MA. Individual Contributor: does not manage other employees or contingent workers.
• Prepare peptide and protein injectable formulations for in vitro and in vivo studies including selection of buffers, excipients, surfactants and conducting the relevant biophysical characterization and stability studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the selected dosage form meets the desired biophysical and biochemical profile and contribute to early screening strategies and execution.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab instruments such as biophysical and analytical characterization equipment.
• Conduct laboratory work in a safe, efficient manner that ensures a safe working environment for colleagues.
• Bachelor's Degree required
  , Master’s welcome, PhD overqualified, with 2+ years’ relevant technical experience in buffer preparation and formulations –

• Strong knowledge and expertise in biophysical characterization and injectable formulation development –
  Required!
• Experience with spectroscopy, calorimetry, light scattering, and other biophysical methods for peptide and protein injectable formulations is a plus!

• Leave of Absence coverage role! 6-month contract assignment.
• Pay: $33-37 hourly (W2), depending on experience level.
• Onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm.
