Kidsborough is hiring Behavior Technicians to join our growing team and support students in our inclusion-based after‑school program! We are currently hiring for two flexible roles, which can be combined depending on client needs and staffing availability, offering a dynamic and diverse experience:
ABA Behavior Technician (1:1 Support / 1:2 Support)Provide individualized ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), under the direct supervision of a BCBA.
Responsibilities- Deliver ABA services during after‑school hours
- Follow individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Collect and record data electronically
- Write daily session notes and obtain parent signatures
- Attend supervision and implement BCBA feedback
Candidates interested in pursuing certification and/or gaining clinical experience in the mental health or behavioral health field.
Site‑Based Behavior Technician (Inclusion Support)Support multiple students with emotional and/or behavioral challenges within a general population group setting. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy naturalistic teaching, peer‑based support, and flexible behavioral intervention within inclusive environments.
Responsibilities- Provide on‑site support to students receiving Inclusion services
- Implement individualized support strategies created by the BCBA
- Monitor student behavior across group activities
- Communicate with group leaders and site coordinators
- Participate in monthly parent meetings and team check‑ins
Candidates interested in behavior support within natural group settings; no 1:1 responsibility.
Kidsborough Provides- 40‑hour RBT training upon hiring for individuals without prior ABA experience
- Ongoing training and supervision from a BCBA to support your professional growth and ensure high‑quality service delivery
- Must be 18+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Have a vehicle or means to travel between different sites
- Bachelor’s degree or related coursework in psychology, education, or human services (preferred)
- Experience working with children with ASD or in group settings (preferred)
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, move easily from floor to standing, and maintain energy throughout active shift
