Job Description

Pay Range: $90.89hr - $95.89hr

Responsibilities
  • The Construction & Facilities EH&S Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing technical safety and environmental programs to ensure safe, compliant, and effective site operations.
  • This role acts as the EH&S liaison for construction and expansion projects, leads risk assessments, supports incident investigations, and ensures alignment with enterprise safety standards.
Requirements / Must Have
  • Bachelor s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of EH&S experience, preferably in construction, facilities, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or laboratory environments.
  • Strong understanding of EH&S principles, relevant laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience assessing processes, equipment, and operations for risks and implementing mitigation solutions.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and respond effectively in emergency situations.
Experience
  • Designing, developing, and implementing EHS Management Systems (safety, environmental, and health programs).
  • Acting as EH&S liaison for construction and site expansion projects.
  • Leading or participating in investigations and compliance reviews.
  • Enhancing risk assessment processes to proactively mitigate enterprise-level risks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align site practices with enterprise standards.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical safety initiatives supporting operational efficiency and schedules.
  • Oversee site safety programs ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Serve as the tactical EH&S liaison for construction and expansion projects.
  • Lead risk assessments and investigations; provide solutions to reduce hazards and environmental impact.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the site s EHS Management System.
  • Partner with EH&S teams on initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of EH&S activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support EH&S and site objectives.

  • EHS certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are strongly desired but not required.
  • 7+ years of relevant EH&S experience.
