FY Skills Plus Lead; Competency Tracking Lead - Stipend Position

Position: FY 2027: Skills Plus Lead (Competency Tracking Lead) - Stipend Position
Minuteman High School is seeking a qualified Skills Plus Lead (Competency Tracking Lead) for the  school year. The Skills Plus Lead (Competency Tracking Lead) must be familiar with the Massachusetts Vocational Technical Curriculum Frameworks and performance standards including competency tracking. This is a stipend position, with responsibilities and compensation detailed below. Major Responsibilities:

* Be familiar with and proficient using competency tracking software.

* Set up student and teacher accounts on Skills Plus or other tracking system.

* Research and make recommendations for other competency tracking systems, including NOCTI, etc.

* Create Skills Plus Projects (such as Entrepreneur class and OSHA) that encompass multiple strands in the CTE strands that will assist teachers in checking off competencies.

* Works with teaching staff to ensure that student competencies are updated quarterly.

* Provide technical assistance to teaching staff as needed.

* Maintain all records necessary and create reports for administration as needed.

* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Ability to communicate with colleagues and parents.

* Knowledge of Skills Plus.

* Ability to use technology and troubleshoot software difficulties.

Additional Requirements:

* This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public, walking around the school, standing for periods, occasionally lifting and carrying items, reading documents, using a computer, listening and speaking, using office equipment, maintaining energy throughout the day, and handling stress effectively.

Terms of Employment:

* Stipend Position.

Effective Dates of Employment:

* This is a stipend position for the  school year.

* The person who fills this position will be the contact for any relevant and important information prior to the start of the school year.

Supervisor:

* Director of Career and Technical Education.

Compensation:

* The total stipend for this position is $3,896 for the entire assignment.
