FY Junior Class Advisor - Stipend Position

Position: FY 2027: Junior Class Advisor - Stipend Position
Minuteman High School is seeking a qualified Junior Class Advisor for the  school year. This is a stipend position, with responsibilities and compensation detailed below. Major Responsibilities:

* Host yearly elections of officers.

* Hold monthly meetings with officers.

* Have at minimum 2 fundraisers per year.

* Work with other advisors as needed to plan multi-class events.

* Supervise all planed events.

* Work with Business Office to follow all school policies around fundraising.

* Follow all policies and procedures in regard to tracking, spending, holding, and saving money.

* Plan, Implement, and supervise field trips following school procedures and policies.

* Complete an approved Program of Work.

* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Excellent communication and organization skills.

* Ability to quickly establish rapport with students, parents, and staff.

Additional Requirements:

* This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public, walking around the school, standing for periods, occasionally lifting and carrying items, reading documents, using a computer, listening and speaking, using office equipment, maintaining energy throughout the day, and handling stress effectively.

Terms of Employment:

* Stipend Position.

Effective Dates of Employment:

* This is a stipend position for the  school year (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027).

Supervisor:

* Principal.

Compensation:

* The total stipend for this position is $3,147 for the entire assignment.
