We have a great opportunity for a customer-oriented Transfer Driver to join our team! As a Transfer Driver, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of electrical supplies, materials, and parts. You will also assist with general warehouse duties.

Shift: M-F 2pm-10pm

Work Location:
Lexington, KY

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Hold a Class C license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment
• Successfully complete all driver qualifications as specified in Department of Transportation regulations, including pre‑employment and follow‑up physical examinations, and maintain a safe driving record
• Drive company trucks with great care, complying with all traffic laws and safety protocols
• Provide associates with solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise, report observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager
• Load and unload materials from trucks accurately, efficiently, and safely, using proper body mechanics and equipment (e.g., forklift)
• Receive and check in deliveries, pickups, and returns to ensure quality and quantity of products
• Cut wire, rod, or strut safely using appropriate equipment
• Sweep floors, remove trash, and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition
• Pick, pack, and ship orders ranging from a small box to pallets
• Record losses of damaged or defective materials

• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
• Ability to unload material at customer sites, including heavy and bulky items
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and power tools; use push carts and rolling ladders
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
• Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
• Basic problem‑solving and computer skills
