Line Service Technician

Job Summary

The Line Service Technician supports all ground operations and provides basic service to the aircraft such as marshaling, towing, fueling, lavatory servicing, replenishing ice, water, and papers. The Line Service Technician must have a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills receiving instructions, confirming details, assisting with baggage, etc. We are seeking candidates with friendly and outgoing personalities who have experience working outdoors with heavy equipment, experience providing quality customer service, the ability to work flexible hours as needed, and a desire to work in an aviation setting.

Aviation experience is preferred.

• Marshaling aircraft through arrivals and departures
• Towing aircraft
• Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc.
• Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles and equipment
• Transporting clients
• Greeting pilots, passengers, and crew members
• Assist with customer service duties as needed
• Ensure hangars, tarmac and client areas are kept clean and orderly
• Ensure a safe environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Snow removal
• Other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager

• Must have the ability to work with a variety of equipment and vehicles
• Must have a valid driver's license and approved driving record
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must be able to work evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior aviation experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with NATA's Professional Line Service Training is preferred
