Commercial Delivery Driver

Summary

Baumann Paper Company is a locally owned and operated distribution company. We are looking for personable, efficient individuals to join our team as delivery drivers. Must have a great attitude and an ability to provide a high-level of customer service. Our runs are generally short‑haul within Kentucky, with no overnight shifts. Drivers will be home every night and on weekends. We offer flexibility along with great benefits.

• Class B Driver:
  Operate a box truck.
• Class A Driver:
  Operate a tractor‑trailer as well as a box truck.
• Deliver products to customers with a courteous and professional attitude.
• Make deliveries to both loading docks and designated customer locations, using a dolly or pallet jack as needed.
• Load products onto trucks.
• Complete all required paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Perform deliveries with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service.

• Minimum of 3 years CDL experience.
• Class A or Class B CDL licenses required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Drivers must pass random drug and alcohol screening.
• No DUI in the past 7 years.
• Excellent time‑management skills.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Monday – Friday, 35 to 45 hours per week (6 to 10 hours per day). Deliveries run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with shifts starting as early as 6:00 AM.

Starting Pay Rate: $21.00/hour for Class B Drivers ($20.00 for first 90 days).
Starting Pay Rate: $23.00/hour for Class A Drivers ($22.00 for first 90 days).
$300 quarterly safety bonus, $50 monthly cell‑phone allowance.
Approximate Annual Wages: $44,880 – $51,720.

• Consistently lift 20–50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Walk 1 mile.
• No uncorrected visual or hearing impairments.
• No physical impairments that would prevent forklift or vehicle operation.
• Full use of all limbs and full range of motion (pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, lifting).
• Must be able to manually stack cases onto pallets.
• Take no medications that would affect the operation of a forklift or vehicle.
