About the Role:
As a STEPS Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for both routine and unscheduled maintenance of building systems and electrical/mechanical support systems across campus. Your key duties include troubleshooting and repairing:
* Plumbing fixtures and minor HVAC systems (AHUs, reheats, coils, thermostats, valves)
* Mechanical and architectural components (locksets, door hardware)
* Wastewater piping systems-cutting, soldering, and threading various pipe types
* Minor fire alarm, nurse call, and medical gas system issues
* Electrical motors, pump systems, minor ice machine and steam system problems
* Minor roofing and automatic door concerns

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Dependability, team player, flexibility, communication, and strong customer service skills.
Driver's License required.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience
HS + 2 years of experience in building maintenance, equipment maintenance and/or general maintenance.
