Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Heating Air Conditioning Technician based in Lexington, KY East Ky region. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for commercial and industrial applications. Daily tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting equipment inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The technician will also provide exceptional customer service, manage tools and equipment effectively, and coordinate with team members to complete projects on time.
Qualifications
- Expertise in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical systems
- Familiarity with safety regulations, tools, and equipment used in HVAC operations
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical schematics, and operational manuals
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- EPA certification and familiarity with LEED and energy‑efficient practices are a plus
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in HVAC are preferred
