Winterwood, Inc. is seeking two qualified HVAC Installers to join our team. The primary responsibility is to install and alter heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and related equipment and facilities. This position may perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
Travel Requirements: Candidates must be willing to travel within Central Kentucky (75 mile radius). Home every day.
Position Details- Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Work Schedule:
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday - Compensation: $25.00–$38.00/hour (based on experience)
- Company vehicle provided for work-related travel
- $100/month cell phone reimbursement
- $400 yearly tool bonus or allowance

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active HVAC Journeyman in the state where work is performed
- A minimum of two years of documented HVAC journeyman level operation, maintenance and repair experience
- Thorough knowledge of applicable building codes, ordinances, and regulations related to HVAC, refrigeration, and boiler systems
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and proper methods of storing equipment, material, and supplies
- Strong communication skills and self-motivated work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions
- Must have valid driver’s license
- In-state travel required
- Must pass all pre-employment testing including drug testing and background screening
- Modify and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning components and control devices
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, welding equipment, vacuum pumps, test equipment, and a motor vehicle; maintain equipment in safe working condition; maintain parts and tool inventory
- Maintain records concerning time, labor and materials; log tasks performed and write reports as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
