• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment based on training and site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and/or restricted areas, verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to company and client protocols.
• Work collaboratively with client representatives and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns within a technology and media environment.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to situations that may require an armed presence, in accordance with site-specific guidelines and state regulations.

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Hold an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
