Electra Met is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. This is an early career role designed for a high-potential individual who wants to master the operational foundation of a sales organization before transitioning into a full-cycle Account Manager role. Initially, you will focus on internal sales support, managing lead transitions, ensuring legal accuracy, and supporting Sales Leadership. As you master our product and industry, you will take on increasing responsibility for client relationships and renewals.
CoreResponsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and Linked In to generate meetings for sales leadership and account executives.
- Respond to inbound inquiries and qualify prospects before scheduling meetings.
- Execute structured outreach campaigns aligned with sales priorities.
- Prepare and validate standard legal documents (e.g., NDA, MSA, CSA) using approved templates.
- Verify completeness and accuracy of legal requests prior to release.
- Route non-standard or edge-case legal requests to the legal team.
- Maintain organized records of executed and pending commercial documents.
- Maintain accurate activity tracking, notes, and contact records in Hub Spot.
Growth into Account Management
This role is a training ground for future Account Managers. Within 12–18 months, successful performers will transition into full account ownership. During the first year, you will:
- Manage contract renewals in coordination with sales leadership.
- Gradually lead communication with existing clients regarding administrative and commercial needs.
- Progress from support activities to managing a dedicated book of business.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales support or other customer-facing roles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially regarding legal and commercial documentation.
- Familiarity with Hub Spot or similar CRM platforms is highly preferred.
- A strong desire to grow into a client-facing Account Management role.
- This role is based in our Lexington, Kentucky site.
