Non-CDL Route Sales Driver - Lexington, KY

Overview

Drive over established routes or territory to sell and deliver dairy products. Maintain existing accounts, work to build strong customer relationships. Distribute all authorized products to all accounts. Maintain company property such as trucks, computers, cell phones, money and other equipment. Adhere to company policies and DOT guidelines.

• Be dependable, responsible, trustworthy, an early riser, and willing to work long and flexible hours.
• Possess and maintain at least a valid Class D Operator s License and be able to pass a DOT physical including a drug test.
• Have basic math, reading and writing skills; basic math includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Be responsible for the dairy case at stops on the route, including stock rotation and maintaining product appearance.
• Maintain extensive customer contact and develop sales skills.
• Drive, stand, walk, kneel, lift and bend for the majority of the shift; balance pulling product, climb in and out of the truck; lift and/or move up to six cases (20–55 lbs per case).
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments, in cold and hot temperatures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Route sales experience is preferred.

• Valid Class D Operator s License and ability to pass a DOT physical including a drug test.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Ability to drive, stand, walk, kneel, lift and bend; able to lift up to 55 lbs and move cases on a hand truck.
• Willingness to work long and flexible hours and to maintain equipment and company property.
