Coastal is looking for a Business Development Representative in the  Ecosystem! As a Business Development Rep, you'll be the driving force behind our sales initiatives, expertly navigating the  landscape to connect our solutions with businesses that need them most. You'll play a pivotal role in our growth, using your unique skills to create meaningful relationships with clients and help them achieve their goals with Salesforce.

Role Responsibilities
  • Drive a world class outbound prospecting process by reaching out to organizations via phone, email, Linked In, etc with the goal of finding qualified prospective Coastal customers
  • Partner with Coastal Client Advisors to execute a territory strategy with the goal of winning new business, attaining quota and growing Coastal’s market share
  • Handle inbound requests from prospective customers interested in hiring Coastal to deliver success on the Salesforce platform
  • Schedule and lead introductory calls, organize and take thorough notes on prospects in order to hand off to your assigned Client Advisors
  • Qualify prospects to determine whether or not they’re a good fit for Coastal
  • Use your exceptional communication skills to articulate the value of our services, engaging and inspiring potential clients
  • Build lasting relationships within the Salesforce community, staying ahead of trends and opportunities
  • Keep up with technical updates in Salesforce, continuously enhancing your knowledge
  • Embrace a consultative sales approach, focusing on solving client problems rather than just selling a product
Experience/

Skills Required:
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales or sales development in SaaS, B2B Technology, or a high-growth environment
  • Engaging and compelling customer skills - high cognitive empathy and ability to craft stories tailored to the customer
  • A dynamic individual with a passion for technology sales and winning
  • Eager to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced environmeng
  • A team player who thrives in collaborative setting
  • A builders mentality who thrives in collaborative environment
  • A tireless positive attitude with strong grit, especially when navigating uncharted territories
  • An excellent communicator with a knack for building relationship
  • Detail oriented & process driven
  • Must have full-time permanent US work authorization and be able to work onsite from our Lexington office
Additional

Preferred Experience /Skill
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
