Outside Sales Representative – Renewal by Andersen

Renewal by Andersen® is the division of Andersen windows developed for the replacement market. Renewal utilizes state-of-the-art materials that provide outstanding thermal performance, while maintaining the architectural integrity of the home. Renewal by Andersen is seeking a motivated, high‑energy Outside Sales Rep to join our sales team. In‑home sales of Renewal by Andersen windows and patio doors as well as various lines of entry doors will be conducted using a consultative approach.
No previous Window and Door industry experience is required. As a Design Consultant, you provide a 60‑90 minute in‑home consultation with homeowners, going over all of our product offerings while building a great relationship and delivering a world‑class homeowner experience.
- Draw off of commission. Expected earnings $120,000+

- Paid training; during your 6‑week training, you will receive $800/week for the first 2 weeks, $1,000/week for the second 2 weeks and $1,200/week for the final 2 weeks. Once training is over, it will transition to 100% commission with a draw.
- The selling process will involve iPad presentations and a computer‑generated sales proposal on the initial in‑house visit. You will also be assigned to the well‑equipped showroom. Inside sales support will be provided.
- You will receive product and sales‑process training and customer interest leads.
- Your performance will be evaluated via the following metrics:
- Actual bookings vs. budget bookings
- Closing rate
- Quoted vs. booked percentage
- Revenue per appointment
- Units sold vs. unit goal
- Average job size
- Margin achievement
- Homeowner satisfaction
- Homeowners can schedule appointments 7 days per week at 11 am, 2 pm, or 5 pm. We require at least 2 Saturdays a month and 3 evening appointments per week;
Sundays are optional.
- Learn the Renewal by Andersen product lines and perform showroom presentations.
- Master various installation methods and the computer quote system.
- Determine and use the most effective in‑home selling process for each client’s personality.
- Cover showroom on assigned days, using the iPad for price and product demonstrations.
- Enter completed appointment and quote data into the customer database.
- Maintain the order number log and keep open quote folders completely updated.
- Develop self‑generated leads, visit their job sites on the day of installation.
- Manage customer expectations and achieve outstanding homeowner satisfaction.
- Prepare an accurate and complete job folder for every job sold, support teammates’ sales efforts.
- Receive training with the installation team on job sites to understand the entire operation.
- 2+ years of sales experience and the personality and willingness to do outside sales.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, clean driving record and background check.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; availability to run homeowner appointments on many evenings and weekends.
- College degree desirable but not required.
- Good personality – easy to engage, integrity and honesty a must.
