Entry Level Outside Sales – ADP
ADP is hiring a Sales Representative for Small Business Services. This entry‑level outside sales role is ideal for recent graduates or the career‑changer who wants to grow within a Fortune 250 organization. You will work within a defined geographic territory targeting clients with 1‑49 employees, helping them adopt payroll, tax, human resources, benefits, and more solutions. New hires receive comprehensive sales training and access to the latest sales technology.
WhatYou'll Do
- Grow our business while growing yours – work independently and collaboratively to close sales, win business, and hit sales goals.
- Turn prospects into loyal clients – implement a sales strategy targeted to decision‑makers and business owners, building a network and capturing new business.
- Deepen relationships across the ADP family – sell cloud‑based human resources solutions, strategically cultivate additional business within existing accounts, and build lasting friendships.
- Collaborate daily – serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the overall network while demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
- Positive self‑starter – upbeat, persistent, with the ability to cold call, manage time, and present ideas clearly in person, on paper, and over the phone.
- Agile solution seeker – a problem solver who can find answers quickly, even amid fast‑paced change.
- Continuous learner – always learning, growing, and questioning how things were done to improve them.
- College degree preferred but not required; key skills and experience take precedence.
- One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry.
- Military experience – we recognize and appreciate the unique talents and experiences veterans bring to the table.
- Prior quota‑carrying experience.
- Ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
