As a Cosmetic Sales Colleague - also known as a Beauty Advisor - you are the trusted expert our customers turn to for all things beauty. You are passionate about both products and people, and you play a key role in creating a personalized and inspiring shopping experience that builds confidence and drives sales.
You’ll serve as both an educator and a beauty expert—offering expert advice, conducting product demonstrations, and providing tailored consultations that may include makeup application and skincare recommendations. Your deep product knowledge and ability to stay current on trends allow you to introduce customers to new items and innovations that match their needs and style. Building lasting client relationships is at the heart of your role, growing and managing a loyal client base through consistent follow-up, virtual outreach, and personalized service with the goal of exceeding expectations and achieving sales goals.

How our Beauty Colleagues spend their day- Begin each day energized and ready to make an impact. Greet teammates, keep the sales floor clean and organized, review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and promotions, and stay up to date on trends to engage, educate, and sell with confidence.
- On the floor, focus on the customer—offer a warm welcome, make eye contact, and build relationships to bring customers back.
- Maintain a shoppable space by keeping the counter and sales floor tidy, refreshing signage and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves to support a seamless experience. Finish Strong by sharing Loyalty program benefits and ensuring customers have what they need with a sincere thank-you.
- Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities.

Note:
Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled 30+ hours per week; part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. All schedules include weekend shifts. Hours vary by business needs and colleague availability.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to: understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors; read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships with customers, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on benefits and use
- Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools, participating in sales events, and staying up to date through training
- Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions
- At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required
