We are hiring immediately for full time EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT CONCIERGE positions.

• Schedule:
  
  Full time schedule. Three 12-hour days, one 6-hour day, and every other weekend. More details upon interview.
• Pay Range: $18.50 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

1-2 years of experience in food service, hospitality, or patient-facing healthcare experience strongly preferred. To be considered for this position, an updated resume must be included with your application. Must possess English-speaking skills.

• Meal Service Management:
  Coordinate the timely delivery and collection of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner trays from the main kitchen to ED patients.
• Meal Preference &
  
  Education:
  
  Proactively round on all eligible patients to obtain dietary preferences, restrictions, and allergies. Educate patients on how to use the "MyMeal" digital ordering application and assist with placing orders.
• Experience Rounding:
  Conduct frequent and intentional patient rounding to check on comfort, meal satisfaction, and immediate non-clinical needs, documenting feedback and escalating concerns immediately to the charge nurse.
• Service Recovery:
  Act quickly and empathetically to resolve patient food-related issues, ensuring service lapses are addressed promptly.
• Stock Management:
  Maintain a high level of unit readiness by conducting regular inventory and ensuring all designated floor stock (beverages, snacks) and ready-to-eat meals are fully stocked, rotated, and readily available for patient consumption.
• Nursing & Team Support:
  Support nursing staff with non-clinical tasks that directly contribute to patient comfort and flow, such as clearing meal trays, running basic unit supplies, and preparing patients for transport (as directed by clinical staff).

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.
