The role of a bartender is to provide an excellent guest experience, make signature cocktails, and offer recommendations regarding local craft beers and wines.

• Prepare both alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification to confirm legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and provide an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Demonstrate superior knowledge of classic cocktails
• Exemplify outstanding communication skills, creating unique experiences for guests
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area, including polishing glassware, plate‑ware, and silverware
• Complete opening/closing duties, including prep/checklist
• Adhere to cash handling policies, including accurate billing and credit card charges
• Apply knowledge of pour‑cost control, inventory participation, and par level determination

• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
• Relevant training certificate
