ShiftWeekdays between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Flexible scheduling during the weekdays.
Job SummaryProcess insect samples in the lab using a microscope and record data on target insect species. Assist grad students with field work to collect insect and plant data in urban trees and golf courses, maintain greenhouse plants, clean and organize lab space, drive to field sites to collect soil samples for later processing and data recording, and enter data into Excel.
This is a spring 2026 position that may extend into summer 2026 based on performance and availability. Anticipated schedule is 10‑15 hours per week and scheduling is flexible based on student schedule.
Ability to drive a field truck and use a microscope.

Preferred Education / ExperienceExperience working in a research lab. Entomology, agriculture, environmental sciences, biology, or related major preferred.
