Senior Formulation Scientist

They are currently seeking a Senior Scientist to focus on formulation of their lubricant products, interfacing with customers directly to develop and adjust unique solutions in a range of exciting industries.

• Lead the Industrial fluids/grease formulation for the Americas
• Take responsibility for formulation development and commercial use of high performance grease/fluids
• Provide support and interact with customers on product development and use
• Represent the organization at industry events, maintaining knowledge and engaging with sector experts to increase knowledge and represent the brand
• Lead a zero-incident safety culture in the Lab
• Own technical content - information sheets, application guidance
• Identify new technologies and lead product development to hold place in market
• Mentor interns and junior members of staff

• PhD/Doctorate in Chemistry highly desirable
• Strong formulation experience required - ideally 3+ years commercial experience
• On site, Lab based position in Lexington, KY
