Job SummaryThe Research Analyst supports the Aboobucker Lab through comprehensive management of laboratory, greenhouse, and field research operations while contributing independently to scientific research activities. This position is responsible for maintaining laboratory and greenhouse organization, safety compliance, inventories, and equipment; supporting field experiments and seed inventory management; and assisting with plant growth and pest management across controlled and field environments. The Research Analyst conducts independent research projects as directed, analyzes and communicates results, prepares data and protocols, and contributes to manuscripts and presentations.
In addition, the role includes training and supervising students and staff, ensuring adherence to established procedures and safety standards, and promoting a collaborative, service‑oriented, and professional work environment aligned with the Martin‑Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment’s values and well‑being priorities.
