Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) is the shift for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide neuro ICU nursing care for adult patients
• Airway management and vented patient management
• Central line management and IV drip titration
• Interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias
• Continuous IV sedation and titration of IV vasopressors
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Isolate precautions and triage skills
• Computerized documentation; nurse-to-patient ratios 1:1-2
• Preferred for ER: management of dysrhythmias
• Other topics listed: NIHSS, CEAs, post-thoracic surgeries, post-cranial neurosurgeries

Qualifications:

• Strong neuro experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• ACLS and BLS required
• NIHSS considered
• Experience with airway management, dysrhythmias, isolation precautions
• 3-4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday night)
• 1.5 years of recent RN experience
• Experience with patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
