American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Telemetry position at an academic teaching hospital, specializing in Head, Neck, and Plastics patients on night shifts.

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing in Head, Neck, and Plastics patients
• Academic teaching hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage required
• Floating to other units required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Active KY or compact RN license in good standing required at time of consideration — no licensure hits accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of PCU and telemetry nursing experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

• Travel experience is not required — first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — RTO requests submitted after the time of consideration will not be approved
