Overview
The APRN will provide advanced clinical services, including diagnosis, examination, consultation, and treatment for inpatients and outpatients in both clinic and hospital settings, in collaboration with supervising physicians. In the cardiology ambulatory setting, the APRN works as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing cardiovascular care and coordinating with outpatient testing groups such as ECHO and stress testing. In the inpatient setting, they oversee the care of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
The role requires a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, ensuring safe, high-quality care. The APRN demonstrates advanced medical and nursing knowledge, clinical competency, sound judgment, professionalism, effective communication, timely documentation, and ongoing professional development.
- Provide advanced clinical services (diagnosis, examination, consultation, and treatment) for inpatients and outpatients in clinic and hospital settings, in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- In the cardiology ambulatory setting, work as part of a multidisciplinary team, manage cardiovascular care, and coordinate with outpatient testing groups such as ECHO and stress testing.
- In the inpatient setting, oversee the care of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
- Evidence-based practice foundation with a commitment to safe, high-quality care; demonstrates advanced medical and nursing knowledge, clinical competency, sound judgment, professionalism, effective communication, timely documentation, and ongoing professional development.
- License/Certification:
Certified Nurse Practitioner or PA (required).
- Experience:
