Position: Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Hematology/Oncology

Lexington Clinic is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established community cancer treatment facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Together with Lexington Clinic, Markey Cancer Center operates two full-service community cancer care locations.

Summary of Role

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will closely partner with physicians to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform medical services and procedures within the scope of your medical license.
  • Conduct patient histories and physicals
  • Interpret clinical data and develop care plans
  • Recommend and coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Support treatment management and follow-up care
  • Build meaningful relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain all requirements to maintain the license including CMEs.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams
  • Educate patients and families about treatment options and care goals
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited program; current APRN licensure in good standing (Kentucky or applicable state)
  • Prior Hematology/Oncology experience preferred but not required
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required
