Job Summary: As a Charge RN, you will oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in acute care, LTC, or nursing homes adds tremendous value to our nursing team. Every day you will advocate for your fellow nurses as you support them in reaching their full potential, which aligns with your department's operational goals and objectives.
Responsibilities- Provide direct supervision of nursing personnel, including making patient care assignments and evaluating staff performance.
- Proactively match existing resources and seek ways to provide patient care that supports staff and maintains a therapeutic environment.
- Monitor productivity and assure staffing resources are aligned with patient care needs.
- Communicate personnel‑related concerns to the Unit Manager.
- Use a logical, systematic approach to problems and problem‑solving.
- Facilitate Patient Experience best practices on the unit (e.g., hourly rounding).
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and 2 years RN experience, upon hire.
- Registered Nurse license in KY, upon hire and required to maintain BLS‑CPR, upon hire.
- Advanced Elm Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.

Pay Range$31.50 – $45.68 per hour.
