About the RoleWe are seeking a senior-level Warehouse Designer & Flow Engineer Architect to support a large-scale warehouse transformation project. This role will focus on designing an optimized warehouse layout, improving product flow, and maximizing operational efficiency. The selected candidate will work as part of a small, high-impact team responsible for planning and implementing an efficient warehouse structure, including new product line integration.
Key Responsibilities- Design and plan the internal layout for warehouse transformation and optimization
- Coordinate implementation of new warehouse design and operational setup
- Maximize warehouse efficiency, productivity, and space utilization
- Develop product flow, storage strategy, and material handling systems
- Apply Lean principles to streamline warehouse processes and improve flow efficiency
- Oversee warehousing operations including receiving, storage, order preparation, and shipping in alignment with SPS standards
- Analyze warehouse performance (cost, service levels, productivity) and implement improvements
- Lead initiatives to design and optimize warehouse processes and workflows
- Support setup of 1,000+ new products and 5,000+ part numbers into the warehouse system
- Collaborate within a 3 – 4 member senior design team to determine optimal layout, product placement, and line configuration
- Ensure ergonomic, efficient, and scalable warehouse design
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Senior-level experience in warehouse design, layout planning, and optimization
- Proven ability to make final decisions on warehouse product line setup and configuration
- Strong proficiency in CAD and drafting/design software
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with database and analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, or similar)
- Knowledge of PIT and warehouse/material handling equipment
- Experience in large-scale warehouse transformation or automation projects
- Lean / Continuous Improvement experience
