Job Title: Milling Team Member

Location: Lexington KY

Shift: 1st shift Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Payrate: $15.00

• Company makes plastic screens for the coal mine, rock quarry and diamond mine industries.
• Screens are made to order by size and dimensions for each client.
• Trim excess material from completed screens and other products.
• Trimming: trim panels and parts placed on the shelf by Quality Control, as well as those brought by Shipping personnel.
• Ensure that Flat Panels or Tension Panels are evenly distributed among the three trimmers for processing.
• Lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
• After trimming, organize the pieces on the shelf by aperture or part type.
• Complete all trimming tasks by the end of the workday.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the area around the trimming table is tidy at the end of each workday.
• Record the quantity of screens trimmed daily in the Trimming Report and submit the report in the designated basket before leaving.
• Communicate regularly with co-workers.
• Trimming report needs filled out with quantity of screens trimmed for the day and put in basket before leaving for the day.
• Prioritize milling screens brought by Shipping and ensure these are processed before other items.
• Keep a daily count of the number of screens milled and record this in the Milling Report, which should be submitted by the end of the workday.
• Maintain a clean and organized milling area, ensuring it is tidy before leaving each day.
• Assist with other tasks as directed by your supervisor.

• Be at least 18 years of age or older
• Comply with Client's substance abuse & background policy
• Must have Steel toe shoes/boots
• Must be able to read tape measure proficiently
• Must have previous manufacturing experience and/or construction experience
• Must be able to work in hot environment during summer months
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
