Crane Mechanic

We are seeking a Crane Mechanic for the 2nd shift. The role involves operating finished cranes under field conditions, evaluating performance, troubleshooting malfunctions, determining rework, and adjusting or replacing components as needed.

• Operate cranes under field conditions and evaluate performance; troubleshoot to determine malfunctions.
• Analyze problems and determine corrective actions; verify rework conforms to machine specifications. Document all findings.
• Ensure main functions are consistently performed to design specifications before release to Quality.
• Perform sales order changes.
• Assist in development and use of visual management techniques and adhere to standardized processes.
• Collaborate with support personnel—Production Engineering, Maintenance, and related departments—to improve work area through kaizen activities and other initiatives.
• Follow all procedures related to storage and consumption of Point-of-Use material as detailed in relevant QWI's.
• Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.
• Safety, Security and Environmental responsibilities:
  • Use equipment and materials properly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area per “5 S” principles.
  • Observe safety, security, and environmental procedures.
  • Report potentially unsafe conditions or situations.

• High School Diploma.
• Three years of related assembly or mechanical experience involving heavy equipment.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
