Attorney​/Lawyer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position is remote. and requires an individual who is licensed to practice law in California.

This is a Part-time opportunity for about (10 per week) The hours are flexible - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and be capable of handling complex legal tasks with precision and efficiency. WOKERS COMPENSATION is required

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of civil litigation cases, including strategy development and case management.

- Draft and review legal motions, briefs, and other court documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Conduct comprehensive discovery processes, including depositions, document reviews, and interrogatories.

- Collaborate with colleagues and other legal professionals to develop effective legal arguments and case strategies.

- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations as needed.

- Analyze legal issues and provide well-reasoned advice to ensure client interests are protected.

- Maintain thorough documentation and records related to ongoing cases.

- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents to strengthen case outcomes.

- Ensure deadlines are met and legal processes are followed with attention to detail.

Requirements - Must be a licensed attorney in the applicable jurisdiction.

- Proven expertise in civil litigation, including case management and courtroom representation.

- Strong ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

- Experience conducting discovery processes and managing related tasks.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess legal issues effectively.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

- Commitment to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all legal matters.
