Payroll and Benefits Specialist provides comprehensive administrative support to daily operations of human resources and payroll functions. The Payroll and Benefits Specialist works closely with all departments in achieving organizational goals and objectives through effective customer focused HR and Payroll support services. The Payroll and Benefits Specialist is a positive team player that promotes a culture of inclusion and participation.
Required Education And Experience- High School degree or equivalent & 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting setting OR
- Associate s degree in HR Management, Business Management, Accounting or other business related field
- Valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
- Bachelor s degree in HR Management, Business Management, Accounting or other business related field
- Knowledge and experience with KRS (Kentucky Retirement Systems) reporting
- Experience working with ADP Workforce Now

- Provide general administrative support by preparing and filing correspondence, forms and reports, and tracking deadlines
- Assist in preparing source documentation for new hires, personnel and payroll and benefits changes
- Process personnel, payroll and benefits changes in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry to HR and Payroll systems
- Reconcile all monthly invoices as assigned
- Establish, maintain and control correspondence, reports and documentation related to payroll and benefits
- Assist in managing sensitive and confidential personnel and payroll matters and organizational changes, protecting the security of information, data and files
- Respond to various requests from management and staff in a courteous and timely manner
- Assist with accurate and timely scanning of HR and Payroll and Benefits documentation to electronic storage
- Process and reconcile Time and Attendance records, as directed
- Create custom reports through ADP
