Overview

We’re partnering with our client, a manufacturing company located within the Bluegrass Region, a short drive from Lexington, to find a talented Human Resources Advisor that is both passionate about supporting people and driving meaningful HR initiatives.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the employee experience through a variety of responsibilities including recruiting, onboarding, and employee development with an emphasis on recruiting, administering payroll, and HR support. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where your ideas and expertise will make an impact daily.

Responsibilities- As the HR Advisor, you’ll be responsible for supporting a broad range of HR functions and providing day-to-day guidance to employees and leaders.
- Recruiting as a priority. Must have demonstrated recruiting experience.
- Maintaining accurate and organized employee files and HR records.
- Providing employees and leaders with guidance and support to address HR needs and foster a positive work environment
- Administering compensation and benefits across multiple sites.
- Managing payroll administration with precision and attention to detail while maintaining accurate employee records.
- Supporting performance management and improvement tracking systems.
- Tracking key HR metrics and costs and preparing reports for management review.
- Leading recruitment efforts across the organization for salaried and hourly positions with an emphasis on sourcing and screening top talent.
- Managing other recruitment activities, including job postings across multiple job boards, prescreen interviews, and reference checks.
- Coordinating and scheduling interviews between hiring managers and candidates while maintaining clear communication to ensure a positive experience.
- Leading employee onboarding and orientation and onboarding to ensure a welcoming experience.
- Developing and promoting employee communication and engagement strategies and overall employee relations across the organization.
- Managing employee relations across a multi-site environment with fairness and professionalism.
- 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Professional HR certification is strongly preferred (PHR or SPHR).
- Solid understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining confidentiality.
- Strong computer and data management skills.
- Recruiting experience. Must have mastery level skills at using Linked In to recruit.
- Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 annually with comprehensive benefits package
