The Benefits Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of the organization’s employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, etc.). This role serves as a key point of contact for employees, providing guidance on benefit plan options, answering questions, and ensuring a positive employee experience. The Benefits Generalist ensures accurate processing, timely communication, and effective resolution of benefit-related inquiries, contributing to a smooth and efficient benefits operation.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, accident and death claims, etc.
- Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files, maintain group benefits database, and update employee payroll records.
- Provide customer service support to internal and external customers. L everage communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package.
- Distribute materials for benefits orientations and open enrollment. Provide benefit software training and support to office associates and the field staff.
- Travel locally and overnight to different locations for benefits-related trainings and enrollments.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Basic understanding of core employee benefits
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- One year of customer service, HR, or benefits experience
