General Assistant

Lexington Catering is looking for a dedicated General Assistant to support a range of operational and hospitality tasks that keep our environments running smoothly and guests feeling welcome.

General Assistant with Hospitality Assistant Duties:

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace across all areas, including dining and service zones

Support team members with various tasks, including cleaning, tidying, and general maintenance

Assist with the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies, equipment, and kitchenware

Operate basic machinery and tools safely under supervision

Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines in line with company policy

Provide professional, respectful support for dietary needs and preferences

Help prepare, present, and serve meals and beverages

Ensure service areas are clean, well-stocked, and welcoming for guests and staff

Handle kitchen utensils, equipment, and linens in accordance with hygiene standards

Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with clients, visitors, or service users

Respond promptly and courteously to requests or inquiries from guests or colleagues

Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Basic knowledge of health and safety practices

Positive attitude and reliability
