Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Kentucky and no current placement allowed at Program:

Additional Details:
If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. You must fulfill the full 13 week contract.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Must have recent experience at a Level One Trauma Facility.

Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day).
Required Skills/Experience: Procedural Responsibilities, Accurate monitoring, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Vascular Studies/Procedures, Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures, ASD Closures, Cardiac Stent Placement, ECMO, Hemodynamic monitoring, Impella insertion, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Watchman, Electrophysiology Studies, Abdominal and Pelvic, Neurological Studies/Procedures, Additional Skills, Rotablader / Venous Access, McKesson / Rhythmn interpretation
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience, Perform EKG lead placement, Angioplasty , Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Temporary Pacemaker , Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure , Pacemaker Insertion, Thoracentesis , Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy*
Required Credentials: EKG onboarding exam required
Special Requests: Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered.
Shift & Scheduling: Call requirements are as follows: 1 Late call per week (5:30p-7:30p), 1 Call shift per week (5:30p-7:00a), 1-2 Call weekends per 6 week schedule (Weekend is Friday, 5:30p - Monday, 7:00a).
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
